Neil Adcock graduated from the Wellington School of Design in 1979. He exhibited some of his early works in the National Art Gallery in Wellington and spent many years as a creative director in advertising.
Four years ago he bought some jewellery making tools, set up a workshop and with a little help from YouTube, taught himself all the skills he needed to make his unique style of jewellery.
He quickly gained a dedicated fan base, Lisa Reihana wore a selection of his works as the artist representing New Zealand at the 57th International Art Exhibition - La Biennale di Venezia, Lorde has a piece in her collection and artist Judy Darragh has several in her's. He has sold and exhibited at many acclaimed places such as:

Obsidian is a naturally occurring volcanic glass formed as an extrusive igneous rock. Obsidian is produced when felsic lava extruded from a volcano cools rapidly with minimal crystal growth. It is found in New Zealand as we are such volcanic islands!
