George Turner is an artist and musician who consistently creates work inspired by Aotearoa. RGB LANDSCAPES is a collection of one off 'virtual paintings' that depict dystopian and yet recognisable views of iconic NZ landscapes.
The series of 9 works are taken from the most familiar NZ locations in order to form a satirical view of NZ's tourism, agriculture and development and it's impact on these landscapes.
Using geographical data, 3d technology and photogrammetry George has created surreal, dreamlike images images of Aotearoa.
RGB LANDSCAPES is up until September 4th
Have really enjoyed seeing some of your work, albeit on-line at this time but I will make a point of getting to see some of your exhibitions. Well done, you! Inspiring work.
Well deserved success. Keep up your important work.
